Social Network Management :

So you've got yourself a MySpace page. Congrats, you're more findable. But before you go adding every Goth loving sixteen year old and halter-top wearing cheerleader you can find, you should know that the value of a social network page is more than the number of friends you have. Social networks are incredibly popular, and much like Google, are becoming the place that people look for things before trying any other venue.

First up, we need to make sure your site is optimized and efficient to the flow of the larger network. Next comes aesthetics and content, provided by you or us. Finally, we start threading your page into the network by adding friends, outside links, and getting recognition in others’ content. It's another delicate art, but it's much like working the room at a press junket; just being there doesn't count - you've got to get your card out, flirt with the bartender, and listen to other people bitch about their lot in life. Okay, we can probably avoid that last part, but you get the picture. The good news is, it's the perfect time to make a move on that hot secretary from HR - which in your case means hooking up with countless eZines that hold their MySpace presence dear. DIW, anyone?
